DuPont™ Tyvek® Double-sided Tape

Tyvek® Double-sided Tape comes in two dimensions, 20 mm and 50 mm wide. This advanced double-sided sealer Tape has a strong initial tack and provides excellent adhesion properties even under conditions of extreme humidity and varying temperatures.

Tape adhesive is pressure activated, hence make sure you press it down vigilantly to provide maximum tack. Application wise, it may be sandwiched between the membrane layers to seal horizontal and/or vertical laps as well as be used on the back of the membrane to temporarily adhere it to the substrate whilst installing. Tape adheres to surfaces like OSB, Timber (rough, sawn, planed, grinded), Metal (aluminium, steel, cupper) and other.

Please note, that 20 mm wide Tyvek® Double-sided Tape is recommended for use with DuPont Tyvek® Trifecta and DuPont AirGuard® A2 FR AVCL on fire rated application for adhesion to the substrate as well as the overlaps. 20 mm wide tape was part of the fire classification test, therefore provides reassurance of tested and proven performance.

50 mm Tyvek® Double-sided Tape is suitable for all other Tyvek® and AirGuard® membranes, including Tyvek® FireCurb breather membrane, Tyvek® HouseWrap, Tyvek® UV Façade and others. Please consult our Tape Selection Guide for more details on compatibility of tapes and membranes.
