Selecting the right weed control fabric for your project is not an easy task.
One must consider multiple factors including the impact of the chosen fabric on the environment. In this regard, some fabrics may fray while being cut or perforated, resulting in fabric particles being disseminated in the soil and the environment.
On the contrary, Plantex® weed control fabric does not fray. The continuous fibres of polypropylene are tightly interlaced and thermally bonded at crossover points. When being cut, Plantex® weed control products have a clean and non-fraying border.
On the pictures, you can compare two different fabrics being cut, a woven weed control fabric and Plantex® Gold. The difference in the border quality is very visible and easy to spot.
