DuPont™ Plantex® Geoproma® is a 100 % thermally-bonded polypropylene, rot-proof geotextile membrane. It avoids the loss of bedding into the subsoil, and prevents soil from migrating into the drainage system. Plantex® Geoproma® ensures your construction stays even- for a longtime. Its filtration characteristics ensure continuous drainage. It is chemically inert, does not deteriorate and is environmentally friendly.
In case of pedestrian, car traffic or parking lots, Plantex® Geoproma® is used as a separator and stabilisation layer. Thanks to its excellent water permeability property and based on its texturing and cross-section, it is clogging-free, so that the efficiency of the drainage systems is improved. That means a decrease in the amount of gravel and an increase in the lifetime of the structure.
For sidewalks or temporary used roads, Plantex® Geoproma® is used as a separation layer between the subsoil and the gravel / crushed stones. It prevents crushed stones or gravels to be pushed into subsoil and simultaneously prevents weeds to access from the subsoil to the surface. Additionally, it enhances the bearing capacity of the road and does not block the moisture to go to the soil thanks to its water permeability.
