FEATURES & PRODUCT DETAILS

DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 SFR. Coverall with respirator fit hood, front zipper closure with a chin flap and double storm flap, along with elastic openings at the face, wrists and ankles. Available in light tan and in sizes SM-5X.
DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 SFR protective coverall is made of a lightweight and durable fabric consisting of a proprietary barrier film laminated to Tyvek® substrate.
DuPont™ Tychem® 6000 SFR coverall helps provide broad chemical protection and secondary flame resistance in a durable, lightweight garment for use in environments where chemical splash and flash fire hazards exist. Designed to be worn over primary flame-resistant protective clothing, Tychem® 6000 SFR garments help provide industrial workers and hazmat responders with permeation protection against a range of chemicals while providing escape time from flash fires. Tychem® 6000 SFR fabric provides a barrier to permeation of at least 30 minutes against more than 250 chemical challenges including chemical warfare agents, toxic industrial chemicals, and flammable organic solvents.
In the event that a flash fire occurs, Tychem® 6000 SFR garment won't contribute to additional burn injury if appropriate primary flame-resistant personal protective equipment, such as a primary flame-resistant garment, is worn beneath. In fact, Tychem® 6000 SFR garment can also help decrease the body burn rate that occurs when wearing only primary flame-resistant clothing.
Applications of Tychem® 6000 SFR protective coverall include oil & gas, industrial chemical processing plants, hazmat teams in fire departments and industrial fire brigades.

  • Certified according to Regulation (EU) 2016/425.
  • Chemical protective clothing, Category III, Type 3-B, 4-B, 5-B and 6-B.
  • EN 14126 (barrier to infective agents), EN 1073-2 (protection against radioactive contamination)..
  • EN ISO 14116 (limited flame spread)
  • This coverall is electrostatic dissipative according to EN 1149-3 including EN 1149-5 if properly grounded
  • Respirator-fit hood
  • Covered elastic face opening
  • Covered elastic openings at wrists and ankles for tighter fit
  • Elastic at sides of waist for better fit
  • Chin flap with double-sided adhesive tape
  • Double storm flap covers zipper which can be sealed by the wearer with double-sided adhesive strip to prevent intrusion at zipper.
  • Taped seams provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible chemical-resistant material through heat sealing.
  • Nylon zipper with large metal pull
  • Pin lock zipper prevents movement of the slider when puller is in the down position, helping to prevent garment from unzipping while performing work.
  • Manufactured under specifications that do not contain natural rubber latex
