They are extremely secure as once the band is secured to the wrist, strategically placed security cuts prevent the band from being removed without breaking or showing clear signs of tampering.

Wristbands can also be barcoded, offering one of the highest levels of security. By printing a unique barcode and number to each band one can easily prevent the band being reused since scanning will immediately identify whether the band has already been presented or not.
