DuPont™ Molten Metal Man

DuPont™ Molten Metal Man is a unique testing facility that enables manufacturers to test how their fabrics protect wearers against liquid metal splashes.

DuPont™ Molten Metal Man tests enable manufacturers to verify that their fabrics comply with EN ISO 9185 standards.This testing device is conceived to provide scientific, repeatable and reproduceable results in a safe environment and allows the evaluation of fabrics against different metal types with melting points of up to 1700°C.

DuPont™ Molten Metal Man tests are conducted at the DuPont European Technical Centre in Switzerland.
