DuPont Protection Technologies celebrates the 50th anniversary of its advanced, high strength fiber for ballistic and cut protection; Kevlar® at on its stand (Hall 05-A40) at A+A 2015.

Invented by DuPont after its scientist Stephanie Kwolek discovered the first liquid crystal polymer in 1965, Kevlar® is an advanced material synonymous with strength, durability and performance in extreme conditions. The polymer has been used in applications ranging from space suits and body armor to gloves, sporting equipment and cell phones.
