Garments made of DuPont™ Tychem® have been helping to protect industrial and public sector workers for over 20 years. This robust high performance film and coatings can be added to our protective fabrics, and helps protect wearers against exposure to 180 different chemicals.
Tychem® fabric is designed for strong, robust protection even in rugged situations. Tychem® garments undergo rigorous, independent testing before we approve them for use. Furthermore, Tychem® fabrics have now been tested for permeation against a multitude of chemicals. As a result, they help offer chemical protection against a multitude of toxic solids, liquids and vapours that range from sarin to chlorine gas in addition to biological hazards.
