Nomex® – More Efficient Hot Gas Filtration

DuPont™ Nomex® is an inherently thermal-resistant fibre that can withstand extreme stress. This makes it ideal for high-temperature hot gas filtration applications.

For forty years, filter media made of DuPont™ Nomex® heat-resistant fibres have been helping industries around the world to address stringent emission control and safety regulations. Customers include asphalt and cement plants, steel smelters, and non-ferrous metal production companies.

Nomex® fine fibres help to produce felts whose low weight-per unit-areas and high inflow velocities can improve filtration efficiency. Nomex® fibre is a product of choice in a wide range of high-temperature filtration applications. Filter bags of Nomex® are an industry leader in asphalt manufacturing facilities as well as a variety of other applications.
