Vertisan® fungicide for Septoria control
Vertisan® fungicide contains penthiopyrad for Septoria control and a wide range of other diseases in cereals.
An emulsifiable concentrate containing 200 g/l penthiopyrad.
Winter wheat and spring wheat (not durum or red), winter rye, triticale, winter barley and spring barley (including undersown with grass), winter oats and spring oats.
Wheat: Septoria tritici, Leptosphaeria (syn. Septoria) nodorum, brown rust, yellow rust (moderate control), tan spot (reduction).
Barley: Brown rust, yellow rust (moderate control), net blotch, ramularia (moderate control), Rhynchosporium.
Winter rye: Leaf blotch (moderate control).
Triticale: Septoria tritici (moderate control), brown rust, yellow rust, leaf blotch.
Up to 1.5 l/ha.
Water volume and spray quality
Apply in 200-300 l/ha of water as a MEDIUM spray quality at a pressure of 2-3 bar.
Category B – 5m buffer zone, which can be reduced depending on dose rate, width of watercourse, sprayer type or 1m zone if ditch is dry.
Rainfast 2 hours after application, provided good drying conditions.
Limit to number of applications
Wheat, rye, triticale, barley and oats – 2 per crop.
Latest time of application
Wheat, rye and triticale: Apply up to the end of flowering (GS69).
Barley and oats: Apply up to the end of flowering (GS69).
Area treated per pack
3.33 ha at maximum label dose.
